History

The Full Moon first opened its doors in the Historic Hillcrest area of Little Rock in 1983. Daina Newcomb was the first owner of the 1000 square foot store. In 2002, two employees, Linda Balch and Becky Campbell bought the store and subsequently expanded it to triple its size. Over its four decades in business, The Full Moon has become known as central Arkansas’ destination store for exclusive lines of gifts and home decor.

In 2013, Casey Finch, who first started working at The Full Moon when she was 15, purchased the already thriving business.  Casey is a Little Rock native who attended Little Rock Central High and Westminster College in Fulton, MO. Before owning the store, Casey worked in management for Neiman Marcus and Harold’s. She and her husband Matt have three children. Owning The Full Moon has been Casey’s lifelong dream and she cherishes the legacy it has become to the city of Little Rock.
